I am a self taught amateur photographer and have been keen in photography since I went travelling round the World for three years.  On my travels we moved between wildlife hotspots getting wonderful views of lots of amazing wildlife in their natural habitats.  My travels helped to give me my love for wildlife and my passion to photograph them.  I am also a keen whitewater kayaker, as well as being a qualified kayaking coach.  This is where I get my love for photographing sports, I enjoy photographing white water paddlers and also other fast moving sports.  Recently I have started entering national and international competitions and picking up awards both nationally and internationally.

The equipment I use is a canon 7D, with a range of canon lenses including the 24-105mm, 70-200mm F4, 100mm macro and the 100-400mm.  I have recently just added a canon G12 as my backup take anywhere camera.
