Went to get some images from the GB Canoe/Kayak selection event over the Easter weekend. The weather was great along with the paddling.

Went to Brine Pit Farm to try and get some kingfisher shots, finally managed to get some of them diving. Great that the owners of the farm are now running the site and they have rebuilt the hides and putting care in to looking after the wildlife. I had a great trip and spent a couple of days trying to capture the diving shots.
![]() Visited Skye this August, it was beautiful. We had otters in the loch at the bottom of our cottage, with visits from Sea Eagles straight from your from room window. We also had some lovely views of Golden Eagles who soar around without a care in the world. We were lucky with the weather with only a morning of showers in the week we were there. Definitely a place to go back to. Visited the British Open again this year, really lucky with the weather on the Saturday. It was a good competition started off with the Irish teams trials. With competitors from all around Europe including some of the stars from the World Championships from the weekend before.
Just got back from a trip up to Alan McFadyen's hides near Kirkcudbright. Great set up, Alan was really helpful, managed to see a wonderful array of birds and wildlife. I managed some nice shots of the cuckoo, the infamous sparrowhawk and the lovely red squirrels feeding in the bluebells.
I went to the British open yesterday, wonderful weather and a great competition. I'm starting to publish on the website images from the event. Still sad that the C2 competition has been downgraded and we only had one C2 entrant yesterday, a long way from winning gold in 2012!
I went up to Wyboston at the beginning of May to go see the jet ski racing. My first time at a jet ski race and thanks to the help of the marshals I managed to work out what was going on. Really enjoyed it will have to go back again.
